Finance Manager

Sif Jakobs Jewellery, an award-winning Danish brand known for its modern, minimalistic designs that combine timeless elegance with sophisticated luxury, is expanding internationally. To support this growth, the company is seeking an experienced and operational Finance Manager to lead the finance team. Reporting directly to the CEO, your primary responsibility will be to ensure continued profitable growth. Furthermore, you will play a key role in the management group, working closely with a dedicated and professional team.

 

Key Responsibilities

-  Manage monthly P&L statements and closing processes

-  Oversee monthly bank reconciliations and fixed asset reporting

-  Manage accruals, provisions, depreciation, and VAT reconciliation and reporting

-  Prepare comprehensive monthly reports for stakeholders, including performance

   analysis and commentary on key financial metrics

-  Lead risk management activities and ongoing financial monitoring

-  Manage statistical reporting and various ad hoc tasks within the finance team

-  Evaluate and drive strategic investment decisions in partnership with the CEO

-  Collaborate closely with the CEO on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning

-  Analyze cost structures, key financial metrics and correlate sales data across products/markets

-  Conduct research and market analysis for entry into new international markets

-  Manage relationships and reporting with regulatory authorities, banks, and auditors

-  Prepare the annual financial statements and accounts for year-end audits

 

Qualifications

-  Extensive experience in accounting and finance management

-  In-depth understanding of financial principles and business strategies

-  Demonstrated ability to drive financial performance and achieve cost efficiencies

-  Proven track record of delivering cost reductions and tangible financial improvements

-  Advanced user of MS Dynamics 365 (preferably Business Central) and strong proficiency in Excel

-  Comprehensive IT and ERP system knowledge generally

-  Proficiency in business English, both written and verbal

-  BSc Accounting & Finance and/or a MSc Business Economics & Auditing
